What is your role at Fully Managed?
Client Support.
In 3-5 sentences, describe your day-to-day responsibilities at Fully Managed.
My main responsibility is to provide technical support for a wide variety of users for many varying environments, platforms and software applications. I also assist in troubleshooting hardware, putting in warranty claims and ordering parts from vendors as well as answering our toll free customer support line. I provide support through, email, phone and remote desktop control connections for all of clients.
What is your favourite thing about working at FM?
The environment. I learn so many new skills everyday and have made a lot of new friends very quickly.
What is your proudest moment so far at FM?
In my first month, I was put on the FM wall of recognition for my contribution to the hiring fair we had put on. It was an awesome feeling, especially since I was still so new to the company.
When you’re not at work, what are you doing?
Anything to do with computers / technology and golf.....lots and lots of golf.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone interested in joining our team?
Don't be intimidated if you're new to the field of tech support. FM is an amazing place to learn and the team is so welcoming. You have nothing to be nervous about.
What is one piece of advice you would go back in time and give your younger self?
Don't take so long to go back to school to pursue what you love to do.
Who would win in a fight, caveman or astronaut?
Astronaut; a club and a stone spear, can't compete against modern space gear, suit and laser beam things.
