Key Areas of Responsibility

Reporting to the Manager of the PMO, this role requires an individual with strong organizational, problem solving, time management, technical, and communication skills. The individual will have customer-facing and sales support responsibilities. As a Project Manager the individual oversees all phases of the project’s life cycle from Initiation to Closing.

  • Direct and manage multiple projects under a 3-month timeline and a budget of $50,000.00
  • Manage all assigned projects deployment from beginning to end within a multiple project simulation (matrix environment)
  • Set and continually manage project expectations both internally and externally;
  • Plan and schedule all critical decision-making meetings to include milestone check in meetings;
  • Proactively manage change in project scope;
  • Deliver progress reports as needed both to the client and internal;
  • Define project success criteria for both the client team and internal team;
  • Manage internal and external communication making sure all parties are current with project plan, progress and next steps;
  • Manage the transition from implementation to support-including go live letters and post go live follow-up meetings to assure client is referenceable;
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables to tailor a project plan for the client;
  • Effectively communicate project plan requirements to the client and internal teams;
  • Effectively communicate project expectations; and
  • Other duties as assigned.


We’re flexible but these are a must:

  • Relevant post-secondary education ideally achieved to degree level in IT and/or Project Management equivalent experience in a technically related field;
  • Experience working with business to business clients - the ability to influence, persuade and create positive relationships with large vendors;
  • Superior organizational skills;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Possess qualities such as integrity, fair mindedness, and a persuasive, congenial personality;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Drive and energy to achieve desired results;
  • Excellent problem solving / decision making skills; and
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in networking.


  • Holding a valid PMP or CAPM designation would be considered an asset
  • Industry recognized IT certifications would be considered an asset
