Key Areas of Responsibility

This hunter role will require an individual with organizational skills, strong time management and communication capabilities. This person is well connected in the London area and can grow our Managed Services Division in the area. To succeed the Account Executive must have ability to sell at the C-level to SMB and mid-enterprises and work with channel partners in co-selling model. The Account Executive will become knowledgeable in all aspects of Fully Managed's managed services business in a rapidly evolving market to drive monthly sales.

  • Recruit net new customers for Fully Managed
  • Take sole responsibility for the achievement of sales targets.
  • Produce forecasts, sales and activity reports and plans and any additional required information on a weekly basis or upon request.
  • Attend tradeshows and events and do presentations as and when required
  • Responsible for hitting your monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Ability to forecast accurately; Must maintain an accurate and complete pipeline in real time in CRM
  • In addition to managing inbound and marketing derived opportunities and calls, make 20-25 cold calls to prospects per day
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
  • Present a well-balanced portfolio of services to sell during initial transaction
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities in the target market to recruit, onboard and develop customers and partners.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fully Managed's competitive positioning in the marketplace.
  • Responsible for providing an annual sales plan and forecast, providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.
  • Ability to adapt to change, including re-adjust if/when a sales tactic or approach is not working.
  • Work to build strategic business relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Coordination with the senior management team on target market and new customer acquisition strategies for the company.

We’re flexible but these are a must:

  • Strong IT knowledge and background, including product, professional services, managed services and cloud computing.
  • Previous experience selling IT services in the Ottawa area
  • Strong background in hardware and software
  • Proven ability to achieve/exceed sales quotas.
  • Confidentiality concerning financial information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
