Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide technical support and assistance with any desktop and application related issues
  • Provide response for assistance on any internal server and server application related issues
  • Provide basic support for Network equipment (switches, firewalls)
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and/or using a help desk management system and follow to resolution
  • Participate and/or lead project based work as required
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Administer and support Active Directory, Exchange, Windows servers
  • Work as a technical resource on assigned projects
  • Maintain and create any appropriate documentation
  • Development of procedures with internal stakeholders
  • Interface and provide technical support to remote offices
  • Participate in providing 24/7 on-call support for IT environment as required
  • Participate in weekend maintenance activities, as required
  • Support, maintain and administer third party applications
  • Install and configure server and desktop operating systems
  • Be comfortable working in a secure production environment with appropriate procedures and policies for a SaaS
  • Hands-on experience with installation of cable, operating systems, and software systems
  • Ability to promote IT best practices in infrastructure management and user support
  • Other duties as required
