Martin began his IT career at the District of Sechelt in 2001 as the sole IT resource for the municipality. From there he ventured into a team lead role for a national telecommunications company, moving into a leadership position as part of an internal IT department. He then joined the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) where he was an integral part of an award-winning IT department for 4 years. In 2006 he founded a successful Vancouver IT consulting company which was later acquired in 2009. Martin has a passion for technology strategy, is a sports enthusiast, and was born and raised in the Lower Mainland.
