Being Grateful

So you're are having "one of those moments' ,"one of those days", "one of those months" or "one of those years" where maybe things "appear" not to be going as planned or "life" could just be better.

OK...we all go through these times and sometimes it can seem like an uphill struggle to see our way out of it.

Well here is a suggestion...start by being grateful.

Don't lose sight of all the amazing things you have in your life such as people that love you, opportunities to become more, your family, your freedom, your health, causes you can take on, the ability to learn a new skill, the chance to volunteer, things you have accomplished, lives you have changed etc. etc.

One of the things that I do is carry a small stone in my pocket and I call it my grateful stone. Whenever I feel a bit troubled, I take out my grateful stone and it reminds me of all the great things in my life. It centers me and allows me to look at the world with optimism and excitement.

At the end of the day, most challenges and problems are really small in nature and should be treated given that appropriate amount of energy.

Direct all your energy to the great things you have and be grateful. The empowerment and clarity that will come from this will be amazing and soon have you on the path to greatness.
